Veterans Affairs supervisor honored for patriotic support

HONOLULU Terry Amimoto from Department of Veterans Affairs was presented with a Patriot Award July 25, by Robert Lee, state chair for Hawaii Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee, in recognition of her extraordinary support of her employee serving in the Hawaii Army National Guard.

Amimoto was nominated for being highly supportive of the National Guard by her Reserve Component employee Staff Sgt. Sheldon Fujiwara, and was surprised to receive this award during the all hands meeting.
