Check Six: Ulu and Steve – 14 years ago

This photograph taken in August 2004 after a organizational ceremony. Stanley “Ulu” Snow and Stephen Suafilo were two pilots who served in the 154th Wing. We remember Stephen saying that at the time, they were two of three Samoan flyers in the Air Force/Air National Guard.

Ulu was a Traditional member who flew for United Airlines for many years. Steve served in many positions with the 154th Wing. Both Ulu and Steve retired as colonels.
