Check Six – 1960: Aircraft Conversion

This photograph was taken in late 1959/early 1960 at the Hawaii Air National Guard’s alert facility. The 154th Fighter Group was in the middle of an aircraft conversion from the F-86 Sabre to the F-102 Delta Daggar. The pilots are unidentified.
