Check Six: Roy Matsumura’s Retirement – 24 years ago

This photograph is from the retirement party for Roy Matsumura after the June 1994 drill weekend.

After serving in the Air Force, Roy returned to Hawaii and joined the 201st Combat Communications Group. During his Hawaii Air National Guard career, he served in staff positions, and later became the 202nd Combat Communications Flight commander. When he retired, he was the Group’s Director of Logistics.
