Check Six: 1979 Clark AB Deployment – 39 years ago

The photograph above show a Hawaii Air National Guard F-4 Phantom II landing at Clark AB, Philippines in 1979. Col John “Saigon” Lee had recently took command of the then-154th Composite Group (August 1, 1978). The Group deployed to Clark AB many times during the F-4 era (1976-1987).
