HIANG’s Newest Chief Master Sergeant

Her promotion ceremony was held at the 154th Wing Dining Facility during the May UTA weekend. It was a standing room only crowd of family and friends. Among the retirees present were: Glenda Buis, Bill Cruz, Keith Lee, Glen “Knockers” Nakamura, Stanley Souza, Erik Wong, Terry Yonamine, Galen Yoshimoto.
The proudest person there was her father Richard “Soup Bone” Kashiwabara. Soup Bone served for many years in the 150th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron at Kokee AFS. (the 150 AC&WS is now part of the 169th Air Defense Squadron.)
During her career, Carol has served in many areas, including communications, military personnel and currently civilian personnel. A well deserved promotion!
