Outstanding HPD Employees Honored By The 200 Club

The 200 Club presented awards for outstanding Honolulu Police Department employees at the Waialae Country Club yesterday. The 200 Club is an organization comprised of 200 businesses and community leaders who support the HPD and the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD), especially during times of personal crisis.

There were five different awards presented, one being the Outstanding Civilian Manager/Supervisor of the Year.  The 2016 winner for this award was Warren Izumigawa.  His citation read as follows:

2016 Civilian Manager/Supervisor of the Year
Mr. Warren Izumigawa, Telecommunications Systems Section

Mr. Izumigawa has nearly 30 years of service and manages the department’s Telecommunications Systems Section (TSS). The TSS is responsible for maintaining the City and County of Honolulu’s public safety communications infrastructure, which is vital for police operations. Mr. Izumigawa continually strives to enhance current practices and training by implementing new technological systems and equipment. Mr. Izumigawa is also a Master Sergeant in the Hawaii Air National Guard 293rd Combat Communications Squadron.
