Roy Takeshi Ishibashi, 81, of Honolulu, an Air Force veteran and retired aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard, passed away on July 23, 2026 at Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Waimea, Kauai.
He is survived by his wife, Wol Hui; daughter, Joy (Zachary) Lee; brother, Dean; sisters, Esther Shibuya and Bernice Nouchi; and grandchildren, Asher Lee and Hailey-Mae Lee.
Visitation at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service begins at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
Roy served on the fighter flight line for many years.
