Clinton Junior Naungayan, 73, of Hilo died Feb. 19 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Puna, he was a retired head operator for Chevron Texaco’s Hilo Terminal, Hawaii Army National Guard veteran and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ‘Āinaola Ward.

Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Ponahawai Chapel.

Survived by wife, Shellie Bee Allen Naungayan of Hilo; son, Damian K. “Duke” Naungayan of Honolulu; daughter, Dawnelle K. (T’Jaye) Forsythe of Hilo; brother, Benjaman A. Naungayan of Pahoa; sisters, Florence J. Aiona of Keaau and Moretta Kanani Gacusana Naungayan Balai of Hilo; three grandsons and two great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
