TAPS: Richard Katsuto Senaha
Posted on Jan 14, 2025 in TapsRichard Katsuto Senaha, 89, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024. Born on April 21, 1935, in Honolulu, he proudly served his country and community as a member of the Hawaii Air National Guard, retiring after over 40 years of dedicated service.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his daughter, Sherilyn Lau (Wendell Tashiro); his son, Kevin Senaha (Cara Ching-Senaha); and his five beloved grandchildren: Mikilyn, Marissa, Seann, Brandon, and Ryan. He is also survived by his sister, Clara Tsuhako, and his brothers, Lawrence Senaha (Shirley Senaha) and Wallace Senaha (Ruth Senaha), along with their families.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love and service will continue to inspire us all. His strength and devotion to his family will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.
Richard served his career with the then 169th Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron and retired at chief master sergeant.
