In appreciation of Hawai‘i National Guard’s ongoing service to the community, Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union recently presented 300 $10 gift cards from Starbucks to Maj. Gen. Kenneth Hara, the Adjutant General for the State of Hawai‘i, Department of Defense.

Armed Forces Financial Network also provided a matching grant for these cards. “The gift cards are just a small gesture of our appreciation for the Guard and their families,” says Vince Otsuka, president and CEO of Aloha Pacific FCU, who also noted the Guard’s willingness to assist with the coronavirus response, as well as to help “at the airports, at our nation’s capital, wherever and whenever there is a greater need for safety and security.”
