Taps: Henry Seiya Kuniyuki
Posted on Aug 6, 2018 in TapsHenry Seiya Kuniyuki, 96, passed away at his home on May 20, 2018. He served as a combat medic in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team in World War II. He was Hawaii State Director of Veterans Employment for the U.S. Department of Labor for 23 years. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Hawaii National Guard.
He also was Adjutant of the Hawaii Veterans of Foreign Wars, Executive Secretary for Hawaii Governor’s Veterans Employment Council, and Representative to the National Employment Committee of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Emi, three sons Ken, Andrew, Michael and their wives, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
He was interred at Punchbowl on July 11, 2018. He spent his life in service to veterans of this country.
