CW4 Tracy Tobias emailed Retiree News a heads up about the Hawaii Army National Guard warrant officers planning a 100th Anniversary Celebration. The planners want all the chief warrant officers who served with the HIARNG to attend. It would be a great reunion and a time to renew old friendships with those you served.
This event will be on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Retiree News will post more information about the celebration as the event gets closer.
New CSMS#2 Construction Started. Construction of the new Combined Support Maintenance Shop No. 2 (CSMS#2) has started. Robert Inouye sent Retiree News the photograph the left showing the construction site sign at the Keaukaha Military Reservation (KMR) site.
Retiree News will post information about the facility dedication as the event gets closer.

Heads Up & Save the Date. Glenda Buis asked Retiree News to post the following information about the 2018 Hawaii National Guard Enlisted Association (HNGEA) annual general membership meeting.
The meeting will be held 0900-1200 on Saturday, October 20, 2018. The meeting location will post later. This is a election year for council members. The positions include President, Vice-President- Army, Vice President-Air, Secretary and Treasurer.
Update: After Glenda retired militarily, she started at a state position at Headquarters, Hawaii Air National Guard. She recently transferred to a similar position at the 154th Civil Engineering Squadron.
