Taps: Richard Shuji Yamada (Update)
Posted on May 30, 2017 in TapsRichard Shuji Yamada, 83 passed away May 3, 2017. He was a retired air conditioning mechanic supervisor at the Honolulu International Airport and also served for 30 years in the Hawaii Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife Florence (Tamura) Yamada, daughter Valerie, son Craig and Tammy (daughter-in-law), (3) grandchildren Saige, Kai, and Kaz.
Funeral services will be held Sunday June 4th, 2017 at the Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10:00am, services at 11:00am, with food and refreshments to follow. The family requests no flowers and casual attire.
In an earlier post, Mrs. Yamada is requesting that any military who attend to wear aloha attire.
