Save the Date: The Lava Brigade will host its annual 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Memorial ceremony on Friday, May 20, 2016. Retiree News will post more information as the ceremony get closer.

Retiree Sightings:
+ Ran into Michael Arakawa recently at the Hickam Field commissary. Mike served in the supply squadron’s computer section for many years before retiring. He is retired, retired and doing grandfather stuff.
+ Darryl Lindsey was in the State Headquarters meeting with the Human Resources Office staff. He and his wife were in from Maui to review some of his retiree benefits. Darryl mentioned his son is about to complete his second year at the Air Force Academy.
+ Did a quick catch up with Jon Iwashita at a recent University of Hawaii baseball game. Jon play baseball in high school and still enjoys the game. He still has his big smile.
Congratulations: to Tamah-lani Noh who now serves as aide to the state coordinator on homelessness Scott Morishige. Her photo appeared in the Star-Advertiser (You need to slide to the second photo in the article)
Stephen Lum emailed saying gas will be 10 cents off when you use your Military Star Card between April 15-17.
