Ruben “Diablo” David Akeo Coltes, 61, of Mountain View died Aug. 9 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a residential painter and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran.

Private services held. 

Survived by wife, Noelani Coltes of Mountain View; sons, Gordon (Thomisha) Ponce of Arizona, John (Geri) Ponce of Puna, Ruben (Lovina) Kenui of Volcano and Robert (Lila) Kenui of Mountain View; brothers, Anthony Coltes of Mountain View and Michael Coltes of Captain Cook; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
