Stanley S. Honda, 90, of Mililani Mauka, died in Honolulu on Friday May 29, 2026. He was born in Pahala, HI. He was the former Director of the Apprenticeship and Industrial Relations Department for the State of Hawaii and a veteran of the Air Force and Air National Guard. 

He is survived by wife, Katherine, son, Todd (Julie), daughter, Stacey, four grandchildren: Bryan (Amanda), Jared (Beth), Justin (Melissa) and Karyn (Austin), 5 great grandchildren, brother Harry (Nancy) and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Celebration of life on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Burial at the Hawaiian Memorial Park, Veterans Cemetery, 2pm.

Retired from the then 169th Aircraft Control & Warning Squadron.
