Kiyoshi Takemoto 95, of Papaikou died May 20 in Honolulu. Born in Papaikou, he was a retired diesel mechanic for Yamada and Sons and Hawaii Army National Guard retiree.

Visitation 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 10 a.m.

Burial 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No 2. No koden (monetary gifts.)

Survived by wife of 70 years, Setsuko (Shimana) Takemoto; children, Clayton (Amy), Fern (John Leahigh) and Fawn (Jim Dranow); brother Shizuo Takemoto; grandsons Jordan (Rika) and Christian, and two grandsons. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
