Vincent Ramento Palacio, of Waimea, Kauai, passed away on April 4, 2026, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 69 years old. He was born on April 8, 1956, in Lihue, Kauai. He was a proud retired Veteran of the U.S. Army and the Hawaii Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois Rita Palacio, parents Federico and Elizabeth Palacio, brother Rey Palacio, sisters Florentina Gaoiran, Carmelita Patricio, S. Kuuleialoha Mina and Shirleen Badgley.

He is survived by his sons Carroll Jo (CJ) Palacio of Koloa, John-Vincent (Mariah) Palacio of Port Orchard, Washington, daughters Sunshine (Nick) Kuhlmann of Eleele, Maile (Abraham) Apilado of Waimea, Janis (Philip) Kali of Kekaha, grandchildren Kylie Kuhlmann, Shandalyn Kuhlmann, Chance Kuhlmann, Kaleb Libre-Palacio, Alohilani Libre-Palacio, Kekai Morimoto, Te Moananuiakea Apilado, Teoni Wells-Palacio, Kawena Wells-Palacio, Kirra Yoshioka, Olivia Kali, Sophia Kali, Keoni Palacio, Seychelle Palacio, great-grandchildren Tavis James Igne, Kasdeya Kuhlmann, ‘Auhea Kahoopii, brothers Aurelio (Claudia) Mina Jr. of Pahoa, Hawaii, Benjamin (Nani) Palacio of San Antonio, Texas, Valentino (Kathi) Palacio of Makaha, Oahu, Edwin (Natalie) Palacio of Hilo, Hawaii, sister Donna (Richard) Lau-Laranio of Kalaheo, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Garden Island Mortuary in Lawai. Family and friends are invited to come together from 9 to 11 a.m. for visitation, with services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. The family kindly requests aloha attire, and flowers are welcome and appreciated.

Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
