Elswood Everett Kamakakoa Noeau, 47, of Keaau died Feb. 27 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was a union carpenter and mason and Hawaii National Guard veteran.

Brother, Jason (Kim) Makaneole of Hilo; Brother, Richard Jacobs of Linden, New Jersey, Sister, Chelsea Jacobs of Linden, New Jersey; Brother, Vincent Jacobs of Linden, New Jersey; Brother, Emmory James Noeau of Kawaihae; Sister, Leolani Noeau of Hilo; Brother, George Benjamin Noeau of Hilo; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
