Taps: Marie Maxima Dar

Marie Maxima Dar, 57, of Kapaa passed away at home on Dec. 15, 2019. She was born on Kauai on Dec. 6, 1962 was a staff sergeant with the Hawaii Air National Guard. She was preceded in death by her parents Florencio and Ida Dar. Marie is survived by her companion Charlotte Kaai, brothers Antone Dar Sr., Frank Dar Jr., numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life was held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at Mahelona Hospital. Family graciously declines flowers and request donations be made to Kauai Hospice of Mahelona Hospital.
