Taps: Clifford Kalanikau Heu
Posted on Feb 5, 2018 in TapsClifford Kalanikau Heu of Kailua, Oahu, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 87. He was born on March 9, 1930 in Kaunakakai, Molokai.
Clifford was a graduate of the Kamehameha schools (1948), was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force and also served in the Hawaii Air National Guard. He retired from the FAA as Area Manager.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jennie, their children Gary (Lisa) Heu, Jeannine (Ku) Kamai, Joanne (Shawn) Stewart and Tammy (Greg) Maginnis, grandchildren Jennifer Heu, Iinnea (Luka) Mossman, Jeremy and Jason Orbe-Smith, great grandson Brayden Heu Greenbaum and sister Marvalee Puaa.
Private services were held.
