Taps: James Sakai “Tani” Taniguchi

James Sakai “Tani” Taniguchi, 73, of Aiea, passed away on May 5, 2017. He was a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 11 Supervisor, Hawaii Air National Guard Master Sergeant, California Glass Glazier Foreman, and Army Veteran. He was also a part time building contractor.

He is survived by wife Aloma; 8 children – Brian and Mark Izumi, Audrey Hirayama, Corey, Johnell Ladera, Matthew Fermahin, Robyn Duong, & Megan Kanani; siblings, Royse “Butchie”, Carolyn “Naomi” Kalaukoa, & Wayne; 19 grandchildren & 7 great- grandchildren.

Visitation from 9:30-1:00; Services at 11:00 on May 22, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe.
