Taps: Ralph “Sonny” Masaji Shinmon

Ralph “Sonny” Masaji Shinmon, 83, passed away on March 13, 2017 at home in Aiea. He was born in Wailuku, Maui on September 2, 1933 and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1952. He served in the Hawaii Army National Guard and was a retired glazier.
He is survived by his wife Ruth: son Rex; daughter Cindy (Arden); sisters Barbara Shimabukuro, Susan (Danny) Takahara, and May (Greg) Oshiro.; granddaughter Jane Greg) Nagamine; and great-granddaughter Tori Nagamine. He is preceded in death by his brother James Shinmon, Private services Held.
