Cirilo E. “CV” Valera, 80, of Waipio Gentry, Hawaii, died in Aiea on Thursday, December 22, 2016. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hilo, Hawaii Island. Retired from US Air Force and Hawaii Air National Guard.

Survived by wife Gloriana; daughter Alissa (Keola) Taniguchi; son Kevin (Michelle) Valera; six grandchildren.

Visitation: 9:30 a.m.; Services: 10:30 a.m.; on February 2, 2017 at Mililani Mauka Chapel. Private burial at a later date.
