Taps: Morris Kalei Maluhia “Mo” Pabingwit
Posted on Sep 3, 2016 in TapsMorris Kalei Maluhia “Mo” Pabingwit, 62, of Waipahu, a BAE Systems-Schofield retiree and a Hawai‘i Air National Guard veteran, died July 29, 2016. He was born in Honolulu.
Morris is survived by wife Rosemary Kam-Pabingwit; sons Benjamin, Richard and Matthew Pabingwit, and David and Keoki Dumlao; mother Vi-Lani Robertson; brothers Clayton and Jason; and sisters April Beam and Le’Ann Naboa.
Visitation: 5:30 p.m. September 6 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipi‘o, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 9:15 a.m. September 7 at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 94-1260 Lumikula St., Waipi‘o. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
Morris and his brother Clayton are a second generation Guardmembers who served with the then 297th Air Traffic Control Flight. Their father, Buenaventura “Benny” Zafra Pabingwit served with the 291st Combat Communications Squadron in Hilo. Benny passed in 2007.
