Retiree Update: Fred Hyun

Fred Hyun

Edmund “Fred” Hyun was appointed the Corrections Population Management Commission by Governor David Ige.  A Senate committee reviewed his qualifications and confirmed him at a public hearing.  Fred will draw on his 32 years with the State dealing with corrections to be a valuable member of the commission.

Fred continues at the Honolulu Liquor Commission as the special projects coordinator.

Fred served over 21 years with the 201st Combat Communications Group, retiring in March 1993.
