Benjamin Kwan Ki “Ah Kee” Au, 86, of Laie, a retired National Guard officer and a retired Laie Elementary School teacher, passed away on December 31, 2015. He was born in Laie.
He is survived by wife Merren “Jojo”; sons Ben Jr., Timothy and Erwin; daughters Gwynne “Kaimi” Haiola, Merren Au, Nanette Vendiola and Gail Heffernan; 30 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Jan. 9 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie North Stake Center. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Laie Cemetery. Condolences: woolsey mortuary.com.
