Taps: Lawrence K.K. Mun
Posted on Aug 24, 2015 in TapsLawrence K.K. Mun, age 83 of Pearl City passed away on July 18, 2015 at Pali Momi Hospital. Retired after 38 years in Civil Service and 40 years with the Hawaii National Guard as a Master Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Karen Young Mun, sons Carlson (Venancia), Everett, daughters Jewel (Gerald) Toyama and Lovelyn (Ken) Voorhees; grandchildren Chelsea (Kalani) Shiraishi, Kristen, and Matthew Mun, Brandee,Troy, and Lacee Toyama, and Asia Voorhees and great grandchildren Kysen and Kairi Shiraishi. He is also survived by his siblings, Bertha Chu, Kenneth Mun, Jeanette Young, Eleanor Yuen, and Milton (Ruth) Mun. Preceded in death by brother Melvin Mun.
Celebration of Life to be held Sunday, August 30 at United Church of Christ, Judd Street, Honolulu. Visitation at 3 pm, service to follow at 4:15. Burial on Monday, August 31 at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe, 10 am. Casual/Aloha attire.
