Taps: Joseph “Sonny” Keohokapu Jr

Joseph Kaaina “Sonny” Keohokapu Jr., 88, of Waimānalo, a retired truck driver for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, and a veteran of the Army and Army National Guard, passed away on June 29, 2014. He was born in Kaauhuhu, Hawai‘i. He is survived by sons Joseph K. Gomes and Purdy P.U. and Glenn J.K. Keohokapu; daughters Jonella Peters, Madonna Keohokapu-Meria and Vannessa L.K. Dela Cruz; brothers Delanor and Purdy Keohokapu, and Robert “Robby Boy” Rivera-Keohokapu; sisters Lillian Farm, Doreen Makuakane, Adeline “Lehua” Mandac and Judy Koffman; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
