Proposed Scope of Work consists of, but not limited to: This project consists of demolishing existing obsolete and dead electrical equipment and installing two Naval Facilities (NAVFAC) and Hawaiian Electric (HECO) compatible generators at Building 1874 and Building 1898. Each generator shall have a stand-alone concrete pad with associated electrical components (switchgear, ATS, Panel, conduit, etc.) reaching from existing transformers to the generator, and distributing at the electrical rooms. Re-wiring/configuring the service feeds to the building’s switchgear and upgrading the infrastructure to support HECO power as well is to be included. Installation is to be conducted per Project Plans & Specifications attached.

The schedule for this solicitation is as follows:

  • Release of Solicitation – July 28, 2026
  • Registration for Site Visit/Pre-Bid Meeting – August 11, 2026
  • Site Visit/Pre-Bid Meeting – August 12, 2026
  • Questions and/or Clarifications due – August 13, 2026, 2:00 P.M.
  • Addendum Release – August 14, 2026, 4:00 P.M.
  • Bid Opening – August 27, 2026
