CA-202010” will be received in the Engineering Office, State of Hawaii, Department of Defense, located in Building 306-A, Room 228, 3949 Diamond Head Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, up to 2:00 P.M. on June 5, 2020.
Proposed work consists of, but not limited to the following: installation of fencing around various perimeters of KMR to eliminate the ingress of feral pigs.
The estimated cost is between $670,000 and $710,000.
A Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit will be held on May 15, 2020 at 9:00 am. The Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit will take place at 1304 Kekuanaoa Street, Hilo, HI 96720. Please proceed on Kekuanaoa Street towards Hilo Airport, make a right onto Puna Trail, and continue to the entrance of KMR Guard Shack to meet Mr. Craig Blaisdell prior to 9:00 am. Mr. Blaisdell will lead the registered vendors to visit the site areas of the scope of work. Vendors will need to have their own vehicle transportation. Vendors will need to be aware of current Department of Health requirements relevant to the COVID-19 issues and as per Governor David Ige’s Supplementary Proclamation directives. Social distancing will be required, and all vendors are required to have a cloth face mask in order to proceed onto KMR property. Please call Mr. Blaisdell at 808-672-1278 or 808-206-2043 before 4:30 pm on May 14, 2020 to register for the site visit. If no answer, please leave your company information, attendees names and a contact number; you may assume that you are registered for the site visit. All interested bidders and sub-contractors are welcome, but not required to attend.
