He also retired from the\u00a0Hawaii Air National Guard\u00a0with over 39 years of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was\u00a0preceded in death\u00a0by his wife Josephine R. Silva, parents John D. and Rose B. Silva and brother Richard D. Silva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is\u00a0survived by\u00a0his son Alan (Valerie) Silva, daughter Barbara (Edward) Vallejos, grandchildren Robert Alan Silva, Richard James Silva, brother James (Patricia) Silva and hanai sister Diana (Darryl) Simao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The State of Hawaii, Department of Defense (HIDOD)\u2019 Retiree News does not endorse any of the external hyperlinks listed or posted on this site.
