In the photograph are <strong>Walter &#8220;Furu&#8221; Furuyama<\/strong> and <strong>Walter &#8220;Sugi&#8221; Sugiyama<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furu was the maintenance superintendent of the 293rd Combat Communications Group. Sugi was the group&#8217;s training manager.
