Current controllers would be shocked at the size of the room, tiny in comparison with today\u2019s facility. There were no computers \u2013 lots of papers and a few white boards. There were several windows that provided views of the flightline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe the Airman in the photograph is <strong>Rudy Luat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:10px\"><em>The appearance of external hyperlinks did not constitute endorsement by Retiree News, this included the linked websites, information, products, or services contained therein.
