Both generals grew up in Hilo and they sang the Hawaii Island song, Hilo March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this photograph are (L-R): SPC&nbsp;<strong>Kameron Omizu<\/strong>&nbsp;(bass), SGT&nbsp;<strong>Jeffrey Domingo<\/strong>&nbsp;(keyboards), BG&nbsp;<strong>Kenneth Hara<\/strong>&nbsp;(singing), SSG&nbsp;<strong>Bryan Sanchez<\/strong>&nbsp;(drums), BG&nbsp;<strong>Moses Kaoiwi<\/strong>&nbsp;(singing), and CW4&nbsp;<strong>Jeremiah \u201cJP\u201d Paragon<\/strong>&nbsp;(guitar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Joseph Kapaeau Ae\u2018a<\/strong>, a member of the Royal Hawaiian Band composed the song in 1881, and bandmaster <strong>Henry Berger<\/strong> arranged it as a march. It has been adopted as the island song of the Big Island, Hawai&#8217;i.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:10px\"><em>The appearance of external hyperlinks did not constitute endorsement by Retiree News, this included the linked websites, information, products, or services contained therein.
