The switchboard operators stayed busy patching calls for both inter- and intra-base subscribers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the photograph above is <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Vince Dacanay<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>James Takakura<\/strong><\/span>, both members of the then 201st Combat Communications Flight (later redesignated the 292d Combat Communications Squadron).
