Among the retirees present were: <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Robert Finley<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Clarence Fukumoto<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Roy Matsumura<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>David Murray<\/strong><\/span>, <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Vince Nishina<\/strong><\/span>, <strong><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Alan Shinsato<\/span><\/strong>, and <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Dennis Takeshita<\/strong><\/span>. It\u2019s unfortunate that funeral services are the rare times retirees get to reminisce.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><u>More Retiree Sightings<\/u>: Recently we ran into <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Yolanda Valiente<\/strong><\/span> at Kaukini Hospital, where she repairs electronic medical equipment. Yolanda says she plans to retire in three years. She retired from the HIANG as serving many years in the 201st Combat Communications Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><u>Retiree Email<\/u>: We had a quick email exchange with <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>Hank S. Laguatan<\/strong><\/span>, who works for the Veterans Administration in Seattle. Hank was a recruiter with the HIANG for several years. He promised more info so Retiree News could do a Retiree Update post on him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:10px\"><em>The appearance of external hyperlinks did not constitute endorsement by Retiree News, this included the linked websites, information, products, or services contained therein.
