He currently works\u00a0with the Plans &amp; Programming Branch, Facility Management Office, as a state employee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He sent in the following document and the following comments.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I came upon this Hawaii Military Academy Officer Candidate School Class 06-68 Checklist among some old documents\/publications given to me from Ms. Shirley Kauhaihao a couple of years ago. I recognize about 8 of the names on that roster. I&#8217;m sure those Retirees who see their names will get a kick out of it and have some great memories.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1LT John Kauhaihao was mobilized during the 29th Infantry Brigade&#8217;s 1968 Vietnam Call-Up and was killed in action&nbsp;on 5 September 1969 during combat operations with Co. B, 2nd Bn 8th Cav, 1st Cav Div (Airmobile) in Tay Ninh Province, Republic of Vietnam.
