Afterburner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Afterburner is a publication designed to keep members of the Air Force retiree community informed about laws, policies and procedures affecting them. Authorized by Air Force Instruction 36-3106, it is published by the Air Force Personnel Center Retiree Services Section. When funding permits, a hard-copy edition is printed and mailed twice a year to those people without an online myPay account with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. When funding does not allow for printing and mailing a hard-copy edition, an electronic edition is posted on this website, and sent electronically to email subscribers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
