Bob Hope Film: Premiere & Q&A: Miles, Morale and Memories

The Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum will host a special screening of Miles, Morale and Memories: Bob Hope and WWII, followed by a live Q&A moderated by Dave Price. Featured guests include actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise, Linda Hope (Bob Hope’s daughter), and Martha Bolton, co-author of Dear Bob: Bob Hope’s Wartime Correspondence with the G.I.s of World War II.
Lt. Dan Band Concert

Enjoy a free outdoor concert with the Lt. Dan Band, dedicated to honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. All are welcome to attend!
Formed by Gary Sinise and Kimo Williams in 2003, the Lt. Dan Band was created to perform at USO shows, entertain the troops, and raise funds for disabled veterans. The band is named after the character Lieutenant Dan, whom Sinise famously portrayed in Forrest Gump.

Former USS Missouri crewmembers and their families are invited to a heartfelt reunion aboard the Battleship Missouri Memorial. Hosted by fellow crewmember and BBQ Pitmaster Moe Cason, this special gathering is a chance to reconnect with shipmates, share sea stories, and enjoy great food in the spirit of camaraderie. Guests will also enjoy live entertainment throughout the afternoon, adding to the festive and nostalgic atmosphere. A tribute to those who once called the Mighty Mo home, this event promises a feast that nourishes both the stomach and the soul.

New Exhibit – Pathway to Peace: USS Missouri’s World War II Experience

This immersive journey will take visitors through the pivotal moments of the Mighty Mo’s role in WWII, highlighting the experiences of the Sailors who served aboard. Personal artifacts, belongings, and archival film footage will bring their stories to life, honoring their legacy and the ship’s place in history.
