The National Cyber Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, is working to close the cybersecurity skills gap in the United States by developing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. As part of this initiative, they have established the National Cyber Scholarship Competition where high school students can qualify through CyberStart America, a innovative and engaging gamified cybersecurity learning platform, with top performers receiving $2 million in college scholarships and $13.8 million in cybersecurity training. No prior cybersecurity knowledge or special equipment is needed to be successful in this program.
