Cybersecurity is a topic for everyone. When money is stolen, intellectual property is taken and identities are hijacked, individual lives are impacted and often, lost. While discussions about cybersecurity can be highly technical and sound incomprehensible, topics involving cybersecurity are being adjusted to be logical, easier to understand, and suitable for active engagement.
This informational presentation will cover what Hawai‘i is collectively doing to address the cybersecurity challenges of today and to prepare for the future. Specifically, what our students, educators, professional associations, volunteers, and other cybersecurity-enthusiasts are working on to increase our cybersecurity awareness and understanding.
