Celebrate Safe Communities Day – Pearlridge Center

Join Hawaii's community at Pearlridge Center for a day of fun and information on ways to keep safe from crime, fraud, disasters, and substance abuse. There will be many federal, state, law enforcement, and service provider agencies present at all mall locations.  Enjoy live musical entertainment, vehicle displays and fun learning opportunities for all ages. A highlight will be demonstrations by the Canine Unit from HPD’s Specialized Services Division; each dog has its own badge number and is considered an officer. The kids will love seeing McGruff the Crime Dog, while parents will may be more interested in keiki I.D. and taking advantage of safe and anonymous medication disposal through the Hawaii Medication Take Back Program. Events at the Wai Makai Center Court and the T.J. Maxx parking lot. The 2019 Celebrate Safe Communities Day is brought to you in partnership with the US Attorney's Office-District of Hawaii; Weed and Seed Hawaii; Department of the Attorney General, Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division; the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Office of the Securities Commissioner; and Honolulu Police Department.
