Fire Management Assistance Grant Program<\/span> (FMAG)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FMAG Program funds state and local government projects for the mitigation, management, and control of fires on publicly or privately-owned forests or grasslands, as these fires could cause such destruction as would constitute a major disaster. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FMA Program provides funding to states, territories, federally recognized tribes, and local communities for projects and planning that reduce or eliminate long-term risk of flood damage to structures insured under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The HMGP funds projects to help communities implement hazard mitigation measures following a Presidential Major Disaster Declaration in the areas of the state, tribe, or territory requested by the governor. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public Assistance Grant Program (PA)<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The PA Grant Program funds projects to support communities\u2019 recovery from major disasters by providing them with grant assistance for debris removal, life-saving emergency protective measures, and the restoration of public infrastructure. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
