Able to pass a police records check (no DUIs, felonies, sex crimes, and alcohol or substance abuse within the last 5 years).
Provide 2 favorable character references.
Not a parent/guardian
Not a resident in the same household as their mentee.
Same gender as their mentee
Have similar interests.
Live within a close geographical location, if possible.
