Members of the Hawaii Air National Guard 292st Combat Communications Squadron and others, recently participated in a Cyber Defense Exercise dubbed “Big Splash”. The exercise was designed to bring practitioners in industry and government together with students to practice cyber-security event response, mitigation, and strategy. Hawaii’s cyber-security Airmen exercised with Washington Army National Guard; the University of Hawaii Manoa, the University of Washington Center for Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, UW Bothell CSS, and Nathcorp.
