Congratulations to the GirlsGoCyberStart Winners!

The GirlsGoCyberStart Recognition Ceremony was held in the Governor’s Ceremonial Room on April 6 to recognize the young women in high school that successfully competed in this national cybersecurity competition.  After six days of grueling cybersecurity puzzles and advanced challenges, the Kalani High School’s Idalings placed first in Hawaii and tenth nationally of 2,700 teams that competed.  Teams from Aiea High School, Roosevelt High School, Sacred Hearts Academy and Homeschoolers of Older Children, Oahu (HOCO) were also present and recognized.  Congratulations to Hawaii’s future cybersecurity professionals!
