SANS Webcast – Innovative workforce development programs to reskill new cybersecurity professionals
SANS – It is no secret that there is a significant dearth of technical cybersecurity professionals. To effectively close this growing skills gap, we must radically enhance the talent pipeline by identifying and reskilling individuals with high aptitude and passion. While traditional academic routes often fail to attract under-represented populations into cybersecurity, recruitment efforts have proven effective by engaging these groups at the career transition stage. We will highlight successful programs that have reskilled hundreds of individuals through training and certification and into cyber jobs over the past four years as well as innovative employer approaches to talent development.
