The State Department of Defense, in partnership with AFCEA Hawaii, (ISC)2 Hawaii, Sacred Hearts Academy, and CTF-HI/Validity will host the Hawaii CyberPatriot Invitational (CPI) on Saturday, August 24, 2019, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at Sacred Hearts Academy. This no-cost event will bring together Hawaii’s middle and high school CyberPatriot community to engage in a challenging web-based Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition—teams need to bring at least one laptop for every two members to participate. In parallel with the CTF, breakout sessions will be held to discuss promoting and improving Hawaii’s CyberPatriot program. Awards will be provided to the top performing team for each category. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided and all CyberPatriot teams are encouraged to participate.

*** NOTE:  Students are reminded to bring their laptops and laptop chargers ***

Immediately following the CPI will be a no-cost social mixer, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, in honor of Brig Gen Bernard Skoch, CyberPatriot National Commissioner. All CPI attendees are encouraged to come meet the Commissioner and fellowship with Hawaii’s CyberPatriot community. Heavy pupus will be provided.
